To the side of the house there is a pathway that connects the front patio with the rear of the house. It is bordered by the forest area and is banked with wild flowers and lavenders.

The hot water for the kitchen, shower room and toilet sink are from automatic gas boiler which is run on bottled butane gas. The house is fed water from a tank that is filled from the borehole. The borehole also serves the swimming pool and the vegeable gardens. There is an established greywater system that pipes from the house to thriving willow and eucalyptus trees away from the house.

The garden start from the main entrance gates and runs down one side of the land. There are a mixture of mature fruit trees including the best mature seedless navel oranges!A mastic bay tree, loquots, flowers and ornamental plants in stone flower beds with plenty of areas to chill and do as much or as little as you like. There are some wonderful large shade trees too.

Here you will find further guest accommodation made of wood on a concrete base measuring 4 meters x 2.4 meters (9 Sq.m).It offers 2 double beds, built in shelves and windows with a clear corrugated roof. It has an adjoining composting toilet cabin and there is also a delightful shower cabin. The main cabin could easily be converted into a hothouse or grow room for the self sufficient enthusiast. There is also a small wooden shed located here for garden tools and extra storage.

The gardens run to the swimming pool and connects to the vegetable garden and also to the smallholding area. The raised flower beds are built in stone and have a mixture of cactus, trees and plants. There is also another growing area here for further crops.

There are currently 2 pigs being kept in a large fenced off pen and this is connected to a chicken/animal area with extra large run. The solar panels panels are located here and are fixed to a large wooden shed of about 15 Sq.m. It is presently used as a storage unit for farm implements and tools etc.

Located between the veg gardens and the smallholding area is the main well. The 2 further wells are located in the forest area. The water from the well is pumped for irrigation to the gardens and growing areas.

Next to the well and in the beginning of the veg garden is a secure concrete building of 4 Sq.m with a metal door that houses the battery bank and solar apparatus. The solar system is 48 volt and is fully functional. It is a 1.5 KW system and has 6 x 250 watt panels, 2 x 200 amp hour Rolls Royce batteries, 2 x 220 amp hour Victron batteries (totalling 840 amp hours). 1 x 3000 watt Meanwell inverter, 1 x Western Co charge controller. The system is also wired with a 25 amp charger unit up to charge the batteries by way of generator if needed. A full charge is only 4 hours.

The veg gardens have plenty of raised beds which have all been organically maintained by the previous two owners. The beds are well laid out, practical and the area is manageable and productive. The land that runs from the entrance to the smallholding area is extremely fertile due to it's proximity to the bordering seasonal river. There are 2 polytunnels included for year round growing. Next to the polytunnels is a covered potting and work station with wooden beams and cement floor measuring 3 meters by 7 meters (21 Sq.m). Outdoor LED lighting and power connections.

Here you will find most of the properties fruit trees. A mixture of mature and younger trees; including persimmons, quince, apple, pear, peach,fig, cherry, pomegranate, almond and apricot. as well as 25 mature olive trees. There is the option to manage the woodland for either an unlimited supply of firewood for personal use or as a steady income booster.

The forest has a mixture of native flowers, lavenders, rosemary and other wild herbs and plants. Three separate areas have been previously cleared in the forest with a view to installing glamping accommodation. One has a slate wall and levelled platform ready for a yurt, tipi, earth bag or straw bale construction. The second area has tyre columns ready for addition of a platform as well as a third area which has a partially built log and cob construction. This also has a rustic wooden composting toilet cabin and shower and is easily accessible from all the cleared sites.

There is further room for more sites in areas that need little or no clearing. It is connected by well worn trails through the forests as well as handrails made from fallen wood and water by overground pipe. The views are absolutely beautiful and the area is peaceful, quiet and bustling with birdsong. The views from the log and cob are particularly outstanding and offer views of the mountains and unrivalled sunsets. There are steps leading from the log and cob area down to the back of the house for easy access. The neighbouring areas to the forest are all densely planted with trees and go on for miles and miles.

Next to the entrance, and at the bottom of the forest nearest the road, are 4 slate stone terraces with mature olive trees that were historically used as growing areas.

As you drive in to the property the main gates are just over a bridge and a few meters away is a separate piece of land. Roughly several hundred meters which has it's own access and was previously used as a site for a mobile home. This is also bordered by the stream with dry slate wall and several mature olive trees and vines. The current owner has installed a slate damn in the waterway ready for a water wheel to be installed for free hydro power. This area could be developed as further rental accommodation with a cabin, yurt etc. or for plant storage.
