Traditional stone and earth houses with some cement work on extentions.

The roofs are all local flat earth roofs( called Launa. which is a type of shist). The roofs are round beams with cane on top with an inpermeable layer then the Launa.

Single glazed.

Wood burners.

Heating Water?
Gas geysers.

Cooking method?

The property is completely off grid and is powered by Solar photo voltaic panels ( House:175W from 1 x 110W, 1 x 65W, caseta: 1x 55W, )

The irrigation system is the original system built by the Arabs nearly 1000 years ago and still working perfectly .Involving a canal from the River shared with over 40 farms. the property has a right to an amount of water every week . There is a shared spring for drinking water.

Food production?
The farm has 200 Olive trees some 400+ years old and produces between 1000 to 5000 kgs of olives per year. there are many varieties of fruit and nut trees .

The farm has so much potential for generating income and over the years we have run walking holidays. Let out the Casita .Made olive oil and sold it. Run Dance camps and more.

Owners opinion on sustainable features?
With the abundant water supply and storage reservoirs. amazing climate and amount of fruit available from the land the possibility for self sustainable living is open ended.
